The Exuma Islands: Day 4 & 5

The group continued to have a miserable time for the next few days, arguing as to who didn’t bring enough fresh limes for margaritas, and how only one of the freezers on the boat kept the beer really cold. It was a rough time after such a wonderful start to the trip.

As rough as it was to get over the lack of proper margarita fixings, we continued to eat well and no one froze in the constant 85 to 90 degree temps we were experiencing. We spend the days trying to snorkel, swim and sail to make up for our desparate situation.

Below: Tarn and Jay makeshift a fix to a broken shackle that was blown the day before in heavy winds, while Sally, Moe, and Gaye supervise the job to make sure they are not only doing it correctly, but efficiently.
